Originally a Mac OS 9-only application, iTunes began to support Mac OS X with the release of version 1.1 in March 2001. Release 2.0 added support for the new iPod.[4] Version 3 dropped Mac OS 9 support but added smart playlists and a ratings system.[5] In April 2003, version 4.0 introduced the iTunes Store; in October, version 4.1 added support for Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP.[6] Introduced at Macworld 2005 with the new iPod Shuffle, Version 4.7.1 introduced the ability to convert higher-bitrate songs to 128kbit/s AAC automatically, as these devices did not natively support audio encoded in AIFF or Apple Lossless formats, also improving the value proposition of the Shuffle's limited flash-only storage.[7] Version 7.0 introduced gapless playback and Cover Flow in September 2006.[8] In March 2007, iTunes 7.1 added support for Windows Vista,[9] and 7.3.2 was the last Windows 2000 version.[10]
I am so thankful, with the solution 2 i definitely solved the problem of sync high sierra and iPhone xr, not even apple support was able to do this, but i was convinced that there was a solution and finally i found your trick! thank you so much. Teodora.
Hi everyone, since I updated to high sierra my media keys stopped working. Did someone figure out how to make them work again ? Is there a way to tell apple directly ? I have read on reddit that a lot of mac users complaint about this and that they would sent Apple a complain letter to fix it in the next update.

If you're currently running macOS 10.11 or higher on your Mac and connect your iPhone to sync with iTunes, you may get an alert saying that "a software update is required to connect to your iPhone." Here's everything you need to know about what that means, how to update your system, and what to do if updating doesn't work.
So I just click not now. I have macOS on max for early 2015 intel which is 12.6.2and a brand new iphone 14 pro on newest, and it just always pops up.I side load with Alt Store and use Finder instead of itunes which is really better! So yeah, some of us should just hit 'not now' and let things run as is. :) 2b1af7f3a8
