This is not a big deal, IMO. So he forgot your birthday; Have him take you out after the coronavirus is over or have him make a nice dinner. A birthday is NEVER more important than a relationship, especially if you are not married. If you value that recognition more than him, then you may not be ready for a committed relationship. Either you learn to tolerant this minor character flaw or you leave and find someone who is equally excited by birthdays.

My boyfriend forgot my birthday but he got me a late birthday present and said he even cried because he felt so bad (which he didn't tell me until way later).
